    Canyon Ranch is looking for a Culinary Coordinator at our Lenox, MA location.


    The Culinary Coordinator will be responsible for daily and weekly administrative duties, including scheduling, timekeeping, culinary log books, purchasing and department communications. The coordinator will also prepare daily pre-shift notes, assist with expo during meal periods, and will assist the culinary leadership team as directed. The coordinator will report to the Executive Sous Chef and the Executive Chef.


    He or she will be responsible for:

    • Administration: responsible for daily management of attendance system, scheduling, administrative documents, purchasing system.
    • Expo: must act as expo during meal periods worked – performing as liaison between service colleagues and culinary team on the line.
    • Supervision: daily supervision of culinary staff to include pre-shifts, attendance, adherence to all Health Dept and CR standards of service and cleanliness
    • Communication: maintain effective communication through the culinary department utilizing message boards, email, signage and cross-department collaboration


    Limited experience required (1-2 years previous experience in same or related field).

    Work requires regular lifting of objects up to 25 lbs.

    Work requires moderate mental concentration to execute moderately complex tasks.



    High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
