Canyon Ranch is looking for a People Services Talent Manager (Recruiting Manager) at our Lenox, MA location.
The Talent Manager will have responsibility for leading and individually contributing to the full life-cycle recruitment process with overall responsibility to attract, retain, develop and engage a talented and diverse workforce for organizational excellence while maintaining regulatory compliance.
He or she will:
Actively participates in the talent acquisition and on-boarding process of new candidates.
Manages the Application Management system and ensures candidates are moved through the system, appropriate notes are made and candidates notified of status according to established guidelines.
In conjunction with the People Services Director, manages the Talent Finder10+ program/process for the property. Ensures hiring managers & peers have attended Talent Finder 10+ training and are following the established selection process. Periodically observes peer and manager interviewers and offers feedback/coaching for improvement. Participates in the Discovery Day One experience and shares a portion of the presentation.
3-5 years work experience in related field is required.
Proficient skills in Microsoft office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook is required
Demonstrate excellent communication skills both verbal and written is required
Excellent organizational, judgement, listening and time management skills is required
Calm and approachable demeanor with excellent customer service and positive interpersonal skills is required
Strong understanding of federal and state labor laws is required
Demonstrate excellent customer service skills is required
Ability to develop & maintain strong working relationships with all levels of the organization is required
Demonstrated strong analytical skills is required
Education and Certifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, Business Administration or related field is preferred
PHR, SHRM-CP, SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification is preferred.
