The Senior Vice President – Sales and Marketing is responsible for strategic development, direction, and implementation of all Sales and Marketing activities for the company. You will be a key advocate for the brand, charged with creating innovative strategies that communicate the Canyon Ranch mission to newer, global audiences, leading to increased brand and product awareness, enhanced revenue generation, and lifetime customer loyalty. You will need to deliver innovative messaging campaigns across a broad spectrum of sales and marketing channels in order to achieve brand awareness and growth.
The Senior Vice President – Sales and Marketing acts as primary author of the company’s marketing plan, identifying short- and long-term opportunities to create dialogue and commentary around Canyon Ranch products, experiences, locations, contributions, innovation, and related aspects in a fashion that is loyal to the brand. You will guide the Sales and Marketing efforts for the brand, including brand extensions.
You will establish a best-in-class measurable media presence that drives customer interest and supports the attainment of revenue targets. You will evolve the current web platform to a world-class website that delivers a compelling experience regardless of the device used. You will maintain excellent working relationships with the corporate Communications team as well as direct reports and property Sales and Marketing teams. You will also maintain relevant, actionable, and analytic resources to measure the effectiveness of marketing, pricing, advertising, and related initiatives. You will establish and maintain a marketing presence, with the ability to adeptly respond to marketplace trends and opportunities, including preparation of effective marketing plans for new locations. You will need to have the capacity to obtain and evaluate updated data that is essential in growing the brand’s relevance with a changing consumer landscape.
To be successful in this role you will need 10 or more years’ experience as a brand builder leading sales and marketing teams. You must also have proven experience in creating value-added database and CRM programs that drive profitable business growth.
